ADMISSION CRITERIA
While Texas A&M has no cut-and-dried formula for selecting MBA applicants,
they do hold them to fairly rigorous standards. Above all, your GPA and GMAT
score ought to be well above average. Beyond those, your work experience
(they like to see a resume and require two years’ post-baccalaureate work),
personal essay, recommendations, and the quality and rigor of your
undergraduate program are all taken into consideration. Leadership in any
pursuit makes a good impression. There are no set math requirements, but A&M
appreciates a strong quantitative background in its applicants. The Mays MBA
program requires al candidates under consideration for admission to
interview. Decisions are made on a rolling admissions basis.
